Colorjet continues expansion by opening new dealership with Mohsen El Shafei in Egypt
Colorjet is settled with Mohsen El Shafei to be its official agent in Egypt. It was a reaffirmation of ties with our agent, M/s. Mohsen El Shafei during ITMA ASIA, China Exhibition 2018. A formal agency agreement had signed off by both sides. Mohsen El Shafei is a leading textile machinery agent with several established brands in their portfolio: Erbatech, E+L, Bruckner, Santoni, Karl Mayer, Thies, Groz Beckert, DTG, Pigment.inc.
According to the Colorjet head of International business, Kamal Kulshreshtha, the Egyptian market is presently going through a sluggish phase but with Mohsen El Shafei we are invested for the long haul. The Mohsel El Shafei has a competent team of sales and service personnel based out of Cairo and Alexandria. These are the two major cities in Egypt.
It is the third generation of El Shafei family in textile machine business. Mr. Khaled El Shafei leads the set-up but Sr. El Shafei very much continues to be part of the business including travelling with govt. delegations to Europe for business. Their extensive contacts and network help to get market information and stay ahead of competition when it comes to oncoming requirements in govt. or private investment plans.
They have an excellent understanding of digital printing and also runs a retail print service business which has a DTG Printer and Pigment Ink Printer.
They see Colorjet machines filling a void in the market that has Epson head machines at one end and high production European machines on the other. El Shafei have already invested in the business of direct to fabric digital printing by hiring a domain expert to start promoting the Colorjet brand and Colorjet digital inkjet printers for direct to textile applications in Egypt.
Both sides agreed that it would be good to start with Colorjet Machines in Egypt and Colorjet is very happy to provide full support to this Venture.
